Dr. Rosenfeld, the Director of the
Adolescent/Young Adult Center for Health and Vice-Chairman of the Department of
Pediatrics at the Goryeb Children's Hospital of Atlantic Health Systems in
Morristown, will continue the look at teen sexuality with a focus on the
physical, psychological and social effects of teen sexual activity. (adults only for this program).
A portion of this program is funded with grant money from MAASA.
Program sponsored by: American Association of
University Women-Madison Branch, The Girl Project of the Women's Resource Center
in Summit and the Madison Alliance Against Substance Abuse (MAASA)
Cost: $5.00 for each program or $8.00 for both
programs. Individuals must register for both programs at the same time to
pay the $8.00 fee. Advance registration required.

"Teen Sex in the City- Part I"
April 26 -
7:30 - Chase Room, Madison Library -39 Keep Street.
Registration
required through the Women’s Resource Center of Summit. Presented with AAUW,
Women’s Resource Center in Summit and MAASA. $5.00 for one session,
$8.00 for both. Sandy Smith, Chatham Student Assistance Counselor and Girl
Project program facilitator, using videos and other data, will discuss the kinds
of sexual activity that our teens are involved in, how they feel about sex, the
relationship between sexual activity, alcohol and other drugs, and more. (Adults
only for this program) A portion of this program is being funded with
grant money from the MAASA and grant money from the American Association
of University Women -NJ Charitable Trust Fund.

Bullying - Wednesday, March 31 ,
7:30 - 9 - Madison High School Cafeteria. Mr.
Jim Burns from Proactive Educational solutions will help parents learn what they
can do to protect children from bullies, or from being one. Proactive
parents can make a difference. Co-sponsored with MHS Student Assistance
Coordinator and MAASA.
